Before setting off, there are a few practical details we’ll need to confirm together. These include things like licence details, proof of address and the security deposit — all standard steps to make sure everything is ready for your trip.
The sections below explain each part clearly, so you know exactly what to expect before you travel. These standard checks ensure your Lake District campervan trip runs smoothly from start to finish.
At a glance

Driving licence — Full UK or EU licence held for at least 2 years

Insurance — Drivers aged 25–75, with no more than two sets of three penalty points and no more than one fault or outstanding claim in the last three years

Proof of address — Two documents from separate sources, dated within the last 90 days

Booking deposit — £200 deposit to confirm your booking

Security deposit — £750, taken five days before your hire date and refunded after return
